Spotify just dropped its annual &ldquo;25 Under 25&rdquo; List, which showcases the hottest songs authored by younger talents in the music industry.

Number 3 on the list features Chance the Rapper and his song, &ldquo;No Problem&rdquo; off his breakout album&nbsp;Coloring Book,&nbsp;cataloguing as the highest-ranked MC currently sitting atop the list. The Chicago-based MC was also recently noted as the youngest artist featured on last year&#39;s&nbsp;Forbes&#39;&nbsp;&ldquo;30 Under 30&rdquo; list.

Tory Lanez is featured at number 13 with his song &ldquo;Luv&rdquo;, followed with &ldquo;Timmy Turner&rdquo; by Desiigner at number 17, and number 23 listing Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane&#39;s &ldquo;Black Beatles&rdquo;.

Chance the Rapper, Desiigner, and others Make Spotify's “25 Under 25”

Fifty four years ago today, David Parker --a.k.a Chief Rocker Busy Bee Starski -- was born. Still regarded as a legend for his clever battle raps, Busy Bee is one of hip hop&#39;s greatest pioneers, who helped shaped the art form of rap into what it is today.

Busy Bee burst onto the scene in the late 70&#39;s, before the terms &quot;hip hop&quot; and &quot;rap&quot; had even been coined. He performed alongside fellow legends like Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Afrika Bambaataa, and Kool Herc. Busy Bee helped pioneer the rap battles that emcees are still using to test each others&#39; skills to this very day, and his undeniable stage presence and powerful rhymes helped changed the role of emcees from working in support of a DJ to being the stars of the show.

During his almost four decades in the music industry, Busy Bee released three studio albums, and worked on countless tracks with many other hip hop legends, including KRS-One and Marley Marl on their historic 2007 collaboration album&nbsp;Hip Hop Lives.&nbsp;Busy Bee&#39;s contributions to the history and evolution of hip hop are already immeasurable, and he continues to dedicate his life to furthering the art form: earlier this year, Busy Bee also served as the host for Ice T&#39;s recent Art of Rap tour, which featured many of classic hip hop&#39;s biggest acts, including Public Enemy, EPMD, Grandmaster Melle Mel, Mobb Deep, and more.

Both songs will appear on the soundtrack for the upcoming biopic&nbsp;Hidden Figures, which stars Janelle Monae and&nbsp;Empire&#39;sTaraji P. Henson, and was also produced and scored by Pharrell. The film tells the story of the the team of female African American mathematicians who played an integral role in the success of NASA&#39;s Apollo 11 mission, which landed the first men on the moon.&nbsp;Hidden Figures&nbsp;will premiere with a limited run in certain theaters on&nbsp;December 25th, and will be released nationwide later in January.

These two tracks mark the first two songs Pharrell has released as the lead artist in 2016; he was previously featured on songs by Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Skepta, and J. Balvin earlier this year. He also produced tracks for Gwen Stefani and Frank Ocean.

This week&#39;s Artist Spotlight is the one and only Action Bronson, the multi-talented chef, TV show host, rapper, and professional bringer of unpopular, controversial statements. With his unique style and attitude, both on and off the mic, Action Bronson has emerged as one of hip hop&#39;s most unique acts.

Well known for his mix of a Ghostface Killah-esque style stream of consciousness type flow with some savage, laugh out loud insults and smacktalk, Action Bronson is well known for being one of the most entertaining -- and NSFW -- rappers out there.

While he&#39;s not afraid to court controversy, the Queens rapper says his sardonic, often vulgar lyrics weren&#39;t created solely for the purpose of inciting shocked guffaws or bullying easy targets, it&#39;s about keeping things light and building listeners up with humor.&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;I&#39;m not that type of person. Despite his success on the camera and on the mic, Bronson says his ultimate goal is to further combine his two passions by creating a food truck that also doubles as a stage, so he can perform live and cook for people simultaneously. It&#39;s a strange idea for sure, but it&#39;s not an implausible dream; after all, Action Bronson has made a career out of doing things that other people thought were crazy, and it&#39;s worked out well for him so far.

Common continues to release tracks off of his upcoming, highly anticipated album&nbsp;Black America Again. His latest, the laid back, sensual &quot;Red Wine,&quot; mixes equal parts socially conscious rap with a seductive R&amp;B beat and hooks.

Featured artists Syd and Elena take turns with the hypnotic hooks and vocals on &quot;Red Wine,&quot; while Common continues to bring the lyrically dense and politically awakened bars that have characterized all of the tracks fromBlack America Again&nbsp;released so far. Common will also star in the upcoming action movie,&nbsp;John Wick 2.

Common gets smooth with "Red Wine"

With the recent release of his latest album,&nbsp;Rage &amp; The Machine, veteran rap-star Joe Budden&#39;s been sitting cozily at the highest of iTunes&#39; Hip-hop charts. Meanwhile, the Slaughterhouse MC just dropped the music video to the album&#39;s third single, &ldquo;I Gotta Ask&rdquo;, earlier this morning.

In regard to the album, Budden told&nbsp;Ambrosia For Heads&nbsp;that&nbsp;Rage&nbsp;presents his &ldquo;first album where it&#39;&#39;s not very introspective. It&#39;s not so told from a personal point of view. It&#39;s not so autobiographical. This one, we really stuck to Hip-hop and our passion for it, and that New York sound&mdash;heavy samples, hard drums, just a lot that that has kinda been absent, or it&#39;s not just as promoted as some other music.&rdquo;

&ldquo;I Gotta Ask&rdquo; befits Budden&#39;s latter description perfectly, and is already considered setting itself apart as the exact sound the veteran artist set out to accomplish. The visuals further enhance this through depicting a day-in-the-life sequence as a critically-acclaimed veteran Hip-hop artist, topped off with his razor-sharp rhymes flying through the microphone, of course.

With the album debuting at top ten overall and holding the iTunes rap chart at #1, as well as the release of &ldquo;I Gotta Ask&rdquo;, Budden expressed &ldquo;I&#39;m overwhelmed with the love the project has received. I&#39;ve never had more fun creating a project than I did with&nbsp;Rage &amp; The Machine.&rdquo;
