El-P and Killer Mike are almost ready to release the highly anticipated Run the Jewels 3, but that's not all RTJ fans have to look forward to -- the group will also be embarking on a world tour sometime early next year.

El-P announced that he and Killer Mike would be taking Run the Jewels around the world on his Twitter yesterday. The world tour will kick off in Philadelphia on January 11th, 2017, and will then tour around North America throughout February. Tour dates outside of North America haven't been announced yet, but El-P says they should release details on those shows soon.

The tour will be in support of the duo's upcoming, highly anticipated album Run the Jewels 3. Hype has been building for the album ever since Killer Mike revealed that he and El-P had begun production on RTJ3 in January of 2015. The first track off of RTJ3, "Talk to Me," was recently released online for free as part of Adult Swim's Singles programs. The first two RTJ albums were also released for free online.

Besides working on the new album, the duo have had a busy year -- Killer Mike launched a successful protest that urged African Americans to move their money into local, black owned banks, and campaigned for Bernie Sanders during the Democratic Primary. The duo also teamed up with Marvel to produce a Black Panther crossover, and also appeared as playable characters in Microsoft's Gears of War 4 video game for the Xbox One.
