“I took all my anger and disappointment in current events and transformed it into art,” says Slaughterhouse MC, KXNG Crooked.
The veteran rapper had fans locked on his much-awaited Good vs. Evil album, so it came as entirely unexpected when he dropped Valley of the KXNGS just yesterday. October 27th. The six-track EP releases two weeks prior to the forthcoming album, which debuts November 11.
Continuing off of his latter statement, the veteran rapper addresses that his upcoming projects concentrate on current social issues, such as police brutality, racial prejudice, and economic inequality, through his creatively-designed concept of an other-worldly domain.
“I designed an alternate reality where politicians are puppets controlled by 'The Puppet Master' and police are A.I. Robots programmed to kill lower class citizens,” says KXNG, “Sounds familiar, but in this 'Planet X' reality the poor citizens create a movement and 'Shoot Back'”.
The EP was released following the debuting the visuals to the single, “Shoot Back (Dear Officer)”, which is featured on the forthcoming album.
Valley of the KXNGS is currently available for streams via SoundCloud and Spotify.
