Omaha-based MC Jack France, also known as The Wolfman, has returned with a new track called "Carte Blanche." The accompanying video, filmed in the heart of the city's Old Market, finds The Wolfman rattling off his rhymes like a seasoned pro, proudly wearing his hard-won wisdom on his sleeve.

"All work and no play makes Jack want to bake bread," he tells RAPstation. "It's the first of five songs that comprise a love letter to the Old Market, which sets the tone or mood."

Produced by Buck Bowen, who also shot the video, "Carte Blanche" is a glimpse into the mind of a Wolfman and also a reminder Omaha will always be his home.

"I grew up down here," Wolfman says. "Now I'm coming back and getting in touch with my roots, having a renaissance or a homecoming, if you will. I used to drink Roy Rogers at 5 years old when my mom was a waitress at Toad's. Now I live next door, and her gargoyle is five feet from her old haunt."

He adds, "I want to see this place survive, stay vibrant and genuine. We’re a village, in a town, in a city." Watch "Carte Blanche" below and find more music from The Wolfman here.
