For a good while now, Faith Evans has been hinting her latest project taking the form of a duet album with East Coast legend, The Notorious B.I.G. Titled, The King and I, the record contains remixes as well as unreleased content from Biggie, and is scheduled for release March 2017.

In the midst of this, the R&B star has announced the Biggie's “return” in an upcoming music video, aspiring to promote the much-awaited album—all thanks to Hollywood-based company, the Augmented Reality Holographic Technology (ARHT), who have already secured rights to the rapper's “Humagram” image.

“The creation of a digital human, being it living, deceased in this case or even fictional,” stated AHRT CEO Paul Duffy, “We have a very sophisticated transmission technology for beaming these digital humans through the public internet to literally any point on the planet. These digital humans can scale to any size of venue so it can be in a window display, or your living room or it could be in a 50,000 seat arena for a real-time delivery and display.”

While Duffy's statement implies a variety of potential ideas utilizing the Biggie holograms, it remains unclear how the company will execute the rapper's movements and persona. Speculations include software technology as well as duplicating a human performer's live-movements. Despite this, both Faith Evans and the rapper's mother, Voletta Wallace, have expressed their approval regarding the project.

Wallace has been known for her reluctance towards the idea of reusing her son's material; With the ARHT visuals project, however, Wallace exclaimed unexpected enthusiasm: “Words can't capture how elated I am for the world to finally see my son again on stage and beyond. Christopher's impact and legacy will not only live through his past work, but also the new experiences which have been made possible through ARHT Media.”
