The National Hip Hop Museum has announced the upcoming induction ceremony for CL Smooth, Special Ed and Black Sheep's Dres. The event will take place on March 11 at the NHHM in Washington D.C. with hosts Grandmaster Caz and Executive Director Master Gee.

Kicking off with a live broadcast of “Master Gee’s Theatre,” his weekly SiriusXM Show, Deputy Mayor Falcicchio will read the Mayor’s Proclamation. The inductees will then received their awards, a custom NHHM jacket and other ephemera. To celebrate the grand opening of The National Hip-Hop Shop and its dispensary ORBIT, limited edition cannabis strains will also be released in honor of each inductee: the Caramel King Kush, The Magnificent OG and Strobelight Honey Hash. The ceremony will be followed by an exclusive performance by Special Ed with his lifelong DJ and high cchool friend DJ Akshun Love.

"Watching the museum grow from pop-up experiences to induction ceremonies, to an art gallery, to a retail space and dispensary is truly a thing of wonder!" Master Gee said. NHHM Founder Jermey Beaver added, "I never thought in a million years that after only three years we would have inducted more than 50 of the most important Hip-Hop legends into the museum."
